Riverbeds

Riverbeds is a proposal developed for The Architecture Foundation and exhibited as part of London As It Could be Now exhibition at the Royal Academy in London. Our proposal responded to a brief that called for new ideas for reconnecting people with the River Thames.

Riverbeds looks at bottom-up interventions that can be used to create a ‘green link’ between Battersea Park and Vauxhall Bridge on the South Bank of the Thames.

CTA teamed up with Edible Bus Stops to examine how actions such as guerrilla gardening and urban food growing could be encouraged in this area in order to stimulate connections between local communities and public spaces.

This green corridor would then link residents of Nine Elms with the river.
