This three phase project transforms a 1930’s garage into a bright spacious family home for product designers Kim Colin and Sam Hecht and their children.
Phase 1 refurbished the original house, phase 2 incorporated a sensitive roof extension and the last phase included a ground floor extension to the living areas. The phasing of the project allowed for the family to live in the house during construction.
The minimal design sensitively mediates between old and new aesthetics.
