Latest NewsCoachworks receives planning permission
We are pleased to announce that planning approval has been granted for our new project, The Coachworks, located in Ashford, Kent. In April 2018, we were selected by Ashford Borough Council in a two-stage open ideas competition to develop a £650,000 interim, ‘meanwhile’ proposal for this unused site. This exciting urban design scheme is located at the heart of Ashford and hopefully, by Summer of 2019, will feature as not only as a social hub but also as a new workspace, with co-working and office, aimed at start-up businesses, flexible indoor and outdoor event space and a food and drink destination showcasing local producers and suppliers. Director Carl Turner comments on the project, saying, “We see the space as a platform for local people to work, meet and socialise and we will be pulling out all the stops to get The Hothouse open for summer 2019. Fingers crossed for another long hot summer!” More details and design updates to follow.
We hope to see you there, once the project is completed.
